My name is Candice Dryden, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to empowering individuals and families to overcome challenges and achieve their goals through compassionate support and evidence-based practices. I utilize a client-centered approach, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques to help clients develop coping strategies. My goal is to empower my clients to change negative thought patterns and behaviors while developing resilience. Additionally, my use of motivational interventions has allowed me to inspire individuals to find their intrinsic motivation for change.  

Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse populations in several different environments including Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Acute Inpatient Psychiatric/Behavioral Health Settings and Residential Inpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Facilities. I have had the opportunity to work with individuals across all age groups including children, teens, adults and geriatrics. I have assisted in addressing symptoms associated with life changes, anxiety, depression, addiction, and trauma. Furthermore, I have supported individuals and/or families in group sessions. I believe in creating a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. 

As a therapist, I am dedicated to making a positive impact in my community, supporting individuals on their journeys toward healing and empowerment. Throughout my career, I have encountered numerous challenges, but the transformative moments I’ve shared with clients have been incredibly rewarding. 

Outside of my love for clinical work, I cherish making memories with my family and traveling.  My favorite destinations often include stunning beaches, where I can unwind and connect with nature. I also enjoy all kinds of music!
